The training visit in Italy followed the given Agenda, which was covering topics related with Urban labs, more precisely Urban Living Lab (ULL). The participants were introduced with the extensive work and experienceof the IUAV University over the years,in exploring and experimenting with new models of urban innovation, with a focus on inclusion, collaboration, and practical learning in real-world contexts.After the presentation of the ULL, followed a presentation related to the Management experience ofUrban Digital Centre -Innovation Lab Rovigo (Municipalities involved: Rovigo, Adria and Villadose).

The second day, after presentation of the Case study of Skopje Aqueduct that is the chosen location for the summer school in Skopje, NRM, the participantsof the SBRAUS project visited the Padova Urban Lab. They were introduced to the ongoing project of the municipal administration of Padova that is focused primarily on climate change adaptation. The goal of this collaboration among IUAV and the Municipality of Padova is to co-design new climate adaptation solutions with municipal technicians in specific areas of the municipal territory, with the aim of increasing both the administration’s awareness and actively promoting the city’s resilience. On the working sessions organized between the educational trips different methods and approaches that can be used during the summer school in Skopje were discussed.

During the visit of the Island of Guideca on the third day, the visit of social housing structures and the regeneration of this neighbourhood was very interesting and informative for all the participants from all the universities involved in this project. The walk-through Venice was focused on visiting: abandoned places, as well as projects focused on regeneration or revitalisation of certain gaps in Venice designed by famous architects, etc.On the so called Wrap up session a fruitful discussion was opened, about several points. It was decided that all the opened topics and questions will be further discussed on the next Staff Training visits in Slovenia and Germany and the conclusion on all the points will be closed on the last Staff Training Visit in Greece.
